Only three words – but many more could be used to describe the world of the “La Golosa” farm located in Montelparo FM: the colours, smells and tastes of the fruit grown by Maurizio Curi and his parents and skilfully transformed into jams, syrup preserves and fruit juices; unique products from an unspoilt valley, a stone’s throw from the Sibillini mountains. The locality is certainly ideal, but this alone is not enough! A taste for the good things and passion for the work are essential. Maurizio knows it very well, having learned everything from his mother… the winning card today is quality. Quality means the total absence of chemical additives and preservatives in the excellent produce of La Golosa. It means fruit 100% processed by hand, without tricks or scams. And quality means setting yourself apart from large industries by promoting the product in small concerns like wine sellers and delicatessens. This producer’s philosophy is well expressed in words like: enlivened senses, a love for discovery of aromas and flavours and an attraction to taste. Eating local produce means appreciating its simplicity and appreciating nature.
